About the Monnit ALTA Wireless Temp
The Monnit ALTA Wireless Temp is a reusable RF temperature logger that records temperature from -40 to +125°C. Monnit specifies the ALTA Wireless Temp at ±1°C at 25°C; ±0.25°C calibrated accuracy with 0.1°C resolution. Down to -40°C, the ALTA Wireless Temp covers 2–8°C fridges as well as -20°C freezers. The probe is stainless steel 304 tip (5 mm Ø × 35 mm), waterproof high-temperature ABS cable with EMF shielding on a 0.9 m standard; optional 1.5 m, 3 m, 7.5 m, 30 m cable.
Memory holds 4,000 readings with an interval settable from User-configurable heartbeat, about 42 days of logging at 15-minute steps. The ALTA Wireless Temp sends readings over RF to iMonnit, so alerts arrive while the logger is in place.
Listed approvals for the ALTA Wireless Temp: FCC, RoHS and REACH. For calibration, the ALTA Wireless Temp comes with: optional 25-month ISO 17025 (NIST) certification. In practice the Monnit ALTA Wireless Temp fits cold rooms, fridges and warehouses with 24/7 alerts, 2–8°C or frozen.
