About the Sensitech TempTale GEO
The Sensitech TempTale GEO is a single-use real-time monitor that reports temperature, humidity and location during a shipment. It connects over 4G LTE Cat-M1 with 2G fallback and sends data to the SensiWatch platform.
It measures -30 to +55°C. Accuracy is ±0.5°C between -10 and +45°C and ±1.0°C at the ends of the range. Humidity is measured from 10 to 100 %RH at ±3 %RH up to 90 %RH. Battery life is quoted as 90 days, depending on the monitoring and reporting intervals.
The limitations: its upper limit of +55°C is lower than many loggers, and it is larger and heavier than USB shipment loggers at 115.5 × 121.5 × 25.5 mm and 207 g. Data is viewed in SensiWatch rather than on a plug-in PDF. It carries RTCA DO-160 (sections 20 and 21) and NIST-traceable calibration, and suits high-value pharma shipments where live location and alerts matter.
