About the Elitech RC-4HC
The Elitech RC-4HC is a reusable probe temperature logger that records temperature and relative humidity from -40 to +85°C through an external probe. Elitech specifies the RC-4HC at ±0.5°C (-20 to +40°C), ±1°C otherwise accuracy with 0.1°C resolution. On the RC-4HC, humidity is measured from 0 to 99 %RH at ±3 %RH (25°C, 20 to 90 %RH), ±5 %RH otherwise. Down to -40°C, the RC-4HC covers 2–8°C fridges as well as -20°C freezers. The probe is optional external sensor.
Memory holds 16,000 readings with an interval settable from 10 s to 24 h, about 167 days of logging at 15-minute steps. Recording on the RC-4HC starts by button. Data from the RC-4HC comes off over USB with PDF and Excel reports in RC-4H data management software (Windows XP/7/8/10.
Physically, the RC-4HC has LCD display, IP67 protection and a replaceable battery. In practice the Elitech RC-4HC fits storage areas where humidity affects quality, 2–8°C or frozen.
