About the Kaye ValProbe RT
The Kaye ValProbe RT is a reusable wireless validation logger. Precision platinum RTD sensors in 1, 2 or 5-channel models send readings over RF to a base station up to 150 m away, and the data is handled on the Kaye Validation Console with Kaye Common Reporting Tool.
The complete logger works from -85 to +140°C at ±0.1°C. Bendable 1 and 2-channel sensors extend to +400°C, where accuracy is ±0.25°C. Sensor shapes include rigid, bendable, flexible and an ultra-flat surface sensor. Memory holds 1,00,000 readings, logging from every second, or every 2 seconds on the 5-channel model, and the 3.6 V lithium battery is replaceable.
Its limitation is that it depends on the Kaye base station and console: recording is started and stopped by software, so it is not a standalone plug-in logger. Calibration is listed as NVLAP/DAkkS, which suits autoclave, steriliser and freezer qualification under GMP.
