LogTag TRIX-8 USB Temperature Data Logger

The LogTag TRIX-8 is a reusable USB temperature logger that records temperature from -40 to +85°C. LogTag specifies the TRIX-8 at ±0.5°C (-20 to +40°C), ±0.7°C (-30 to -20°C and +40 to +60°C), ±0.8°C (+60 to +85°C), ±0.9°C (-40 to -30°C) accuracy with <0.1°C (-40 to +40°C), <0.2°C (+40 to +80°C), <0.4°C (+80 to +85°C) resolution. Down to -40°C, the TRIX-8 covers 2–8°C fridges as well as -20°C freezers.

Memory holds 8,031 readings with an interval settable from 30 s to several hours, about 84 days of logging at 15-minute steps. LogTag lists the maximum runtime of the TRIX-8 as 53 days at 10 min, 80 days at 15 min logging. Recording on the TRIX-8 starts by button, scheduled and time delay. Data from the TRIX-8 comes off over USB in LogTag Analyzer or LogTag Online. Alarm options on the TRIX-8 are high/low (1 upper, 1 lower).

Physically, the TRIX-8 has IP65 protection and a sealed, non-replaceable battery. Unstarted TRIX-8 units have a shelf life of 1 year storage. Listed approvals for the TRIX-8: FCC, CE, RCM, TÜV, EN 12830, WHO PQS and RoHS. In practice the LogTag TRIX-8 fits fridges, cold rooms and repeated routes, 2–8°C or frozen.
