Tempmate M1 USB Temperature Data Logger

The Tempmate M1 is a reusable USB temperature logger that records temperature from -30 to +70°C. Tempmate specifies the M1 at ±0.5°C (-20 to +40°C); external sensor ±0.5°C (-20 to +40°C), ±1.0°C otherwise accuracy with 0.1°C resolution. Down to -30°C, the M1 covers 2–8°C fridges as well as -20°C freezers. The probe is nTC Type B14, stainless steel tip (optional accessory 200010) on a 1 m cable.

Memory holds 32,000 readings with an interval settable from 10 s to 11 h 59 min (default 15 min), about 333 days of logging at 15-minute steps. Tempmate lists the maximum runtime of the M1 as Up to 90 days (depends on temperature range and log interval). Recording on the M1 starts by button and software. Plugging the M1 into a PC through its USB 2.0 connector creates a PDF report automatically. Alarm options on the M1 are single and cumulative (up to 5).

Physically, the M1 has Multifunctional LCD display, IP67 protection and a replaceable battery. Listed approvals for the M1: EN 12830, CE, RoHS and RTCA DO-160. For calibration, the M1 comes with: validation certificate: 6 points (hard copy) and PDF in memory. In practice the Tempmate M1 fits fridges, cold rooms and repeated routes, 2–8°C or frozen.
