About the Vaisala DL2000
The Vaisala DL2000 is a reusable high-accuracy temperature and humidity logger for regulated storage and validation. Temperature accuracy is ±0.10°C between +20 and +30°C and ±0.20°C across its full -25 to +70°C range, and humidity accuracy is ±1 %RH from 10 to 80 %RH at room temperature.
Memory holds 1,22,197 readings at intervals from 10 seconds to 24 hours, with a choice of wrap-around or stop-when-full logging. Vaisala quotes up to 13.9 years of runtime at a 1-hour interval on one channel and a 10-year battery life. Data reaches viewLinc monitoring software over USB, RS-232, Wi‑Fi, Ethernet or PoE, depending on setup, and reports export as PDF or Excel.
The limitation is that it is built around the viewLinc system: there is no auto-PDF on plug-in, so reading data needs Vaisala software. Calibration is traceable to SI units through national metrology institutes or ISO/IEC 17025 labs, which suits stability chambers, cleanrooms and GMP warehouses.
