About the Frigga U2
The Frigga U2 is a single-use USB temperature logger that records temperature from -30 to +70°C. Frigga specifies the U2 at ±0.5°C (-20 to +40°C), ±1°C otherwise accuracy with 0.1°C resolution. Down to -30°C, the U2 covers 2–8°C fridges as well as -20°C freezers.
Memory holds 14,400 readings at a 10 min (standard, others on request) interval, about 100 days of logging at 10-minute steps. Frigga lists the maximum runtime of the U2 as Up to 100 days (10 min interval). Recording on the U2 starts by button and time delay. Data from the U2 comes off over USB 2.0 with PDF and CSV reports.
Physically, the U2 has LED indicators display and IP67 protection. Unstarted U2 units have a shelf life of 12 months. Listed approvals for the U2: CE, RTCA DO-160G, UN38.3, RoHS, WEEE and EN 12830. For calibration, the U2 comes with: validation certificate: softcopy in device memory. In practice the Frigga U2 fits one-way pharma and food shipments, 2–8°C or frozen.
