About the Elitech LogEt 1
The Elitech LogEt 1 is a single-use USB temperature logger that records temperature from -30 to +70°C. Elitech specifies the LogEt 1 at ±0.5°C (-20 to +40°C), ±1.0°C otherwise accuracy with 0.1°C resolution. Down to -30°C, the LogEt 1 covers 2–8°C fridges as well as -20°C freezers.
Memory holds 16,000 readings at a 12 min default; others on request interval, about 133 days of logging at 12-minute steps. Elitech lists the maximum runtime of the LogEt 1 as Up to 180 days battery life. Recording on the LogEt 1 starts by button and software. Plugging the LogEt 1 into a PC through its USB 2.0 connector creates a PDF report automatically.
Physically, the LogEt 1 has LCD display and IP67 protection. Unstarted LogEt 1 units have a shelf life of 2 years. Listed approvals for the LogEt 1: EN 12830, CE, RoHS and WHO PQS. For calibration, the LogEt 1 comes with: validation certificate, hard copy. In practice the Elitech LogEt 1 fits one-way pharma and food shipments, 2–8°C or frozen.
