About the Frigga U1
The Frigga U1 is a single-use USB temperature logger that records temperature from -30 to +70°C. Frigga specifies the U1 at ±0.5°C (-20 to +40°C), ±1°C otherwise accuracy with 0.1°C resolution. Down to -30°C, the U1 covers 2–8°C fridges as well as -20°C freezers.
Memory holds 28,800 readings at a 10 min (standard, others on request) interval, about 200 days of logging at 10-minute steps. Frigga lists the maximum runtime of the U1 as Up to 200 days (10 min interval). Recording on the U1 starts by button and time delay. Data from the U1 comes off over USB 2.0 with PDF and CSV reports.
Physically, the U1 has LED indicators display and IP67 protection. Unstarted U1 units have a shelf life of 24 months. Listed approvals for the U1: CE, RTCA DO-160G, UN38.3, RoHS, WEEE and EN 12830. For calibration, the U1 comes with: validation certificate: softcopy in device memory. In practice the Frigga U1 fits one-way pharma and food shipments, 2–8°C or frozen.
