Tempmate M2 Temperature and Humidity Data Logger

The Tempmate M2 is a reusable temperature and humidity logger that records temperature and relative humidity from -30 to +70°C. Tempmate specifies the M2 at ±0.3°C (-20 to +40°C), ±0.5°C otherwise accuracy with 0.1°C resolution. On the M2, humidity is measured from 0 to 100 %RH at ±3 %RH (20 to 80 %RH), ±5 %RH otherwise (at 25°C). Down to -30°C, the M2 covers 2–8°C fridges as well as -20°C freezers. The probe is optional: digital T (M2S100), digital T/RH (M2S200), Pt100 (M2S300, M2S400) on a 1.2 m (3.0 m version of M2S400 on request) cable.

Memory holds 60,000 readings with an interval settable from 10 s to 11 h 59 min (default 10 min), about 625 days of logging at 15-minute steps. Tempmate lists the maximum runtime of the M2 as Up to 6 months (depends on temperature range and log interval). Recording on the M2 starts by button and software. Plugging the M2 into a PC through its USB 2.0 connector creates a PDF report automatically, with CSV export as well. Alarm options on the M2 are single and cumulative (up to 6).

Physically, the M2 has LED indication and multifunctional LCD display, IP52 protection and a replaceable battery. Listed approvals for the M2: EN 12830, CE, RoHS and RTCA DO-160. For calibration, the M2 comes with: validation certificate: 6 points (hard copy) and PDF in memory. In practice the Tempmate M2 fits storage areas where humidity affects quality, 2–8°C or frozen.
