About the Elitech RC-51
The Elitech RC-51 is a reusable USB temperature logger that records temperature from -30 to +70°C. Elitech specifies the RC-51 at ±0.5°C (-20 to +40°C), ±1°C otherwise accuracy with 0.1°C resolution. Down to -30°C, the RC-51 covers 2–8°C fridges as well as -20°C freezers.
Memory holds 32,000 readings with an interval settable from 10 s to 24 h, about 333 days of logging at 15-minute steps. Recording on the RC-51 starts by button. Plugging the RC-51 into a PC through its USB connector creates a PDF report automatically, with Excel and TXT export as well. Alarm options on the RC-51 are high/low, single and cumulative.
Physically, the RC-51 has LCD, bi-color LED indicator display, IP67 protection and a replaceable battery. For calibration, the RC-51 comes with: calibration certificate (2-year validity) included. In practice the Elitech RC-51 fits fridges, cold rooms and repeated routes, 2–8°C or frozen.
