About the Elitech RC-5+
The Elitech RC-5+ is a reusable USB temperature logger that records temperature from -30 to +70°C. Elitech specifies the RC-5+ at ±0.5°C (-20 to +40°C), ±1°C otherwise accuracy with 0.1°C resolution. Down to -30°C, the RC-5+ covers 2–8°C fridges as well as -20°C freezers.
Memory holds 32,000 readings with an interval settable from 10 s to 24 h, about 333 days of logging at 15-minute steps. Recording on the RC-5+ starts by button. Plugging the RC-5+ into a PC through its USB connector creates a PDF report automatically, with CSV, Word, Excel and TXT export as well. Alarm options on the RC-5+ are high/low.
Physically, the RC-5+ has LCD display, IP67 protection and a replaceable battery. For calibration, the RC-5+ comes with: factory calibration certificate; ISO 17025 lab certificate variant available. In practice the Elitech RC-5+ fits fridges, cold rooms and repeated routes, 2–8°C or frozen.
