About the Frigga M2D
The Frigga M2D is a reusable USB temperature logger that records temperature from -30 to +70°C. Frigga specifies the M2D at ±0.5°C (-20 to +40°C), ±1°C otherwise accuracy with 0.1°C resolution. Down to -30°C, the M2D covers 2–8°C fridges as well as -20°C freezers.
Memory holds 14,400 readings at a 10 min standard (configurable via tool) interval, about 100 days of logging at 10-minute steps. Recording on the M2D starts by button, time start and temperature start. Data from the M2D comes off over USB 2.0 with PDF and CSV reports.
Physically, the M2D has LCD display, IP64 protection and a replaceable battery. Unstarted M2D units have a shelf life of 24 months. Listed approvals for the M2D: CE, RTCA DO-160G, UN38.3, RoHS, WEEE and EN 12830. For calibration, the M2D comes with: validation certificate: softcopy in device memory. In practice the Frigga M2D fits fridges, cold rooms and repeated routes, 2–8°C or frozen.
