About the Tempmate S1 V2
The Tempmate S1 V2 is a single-use USB logger for one-way shipments. It measures -30 to +70°C, with ±0.5°C accuracy between -20 and +40°C and ±1.0°C outside that band.
Its USB 2.0 Type-A plug produces an automatic PDF report and a CSV file when connected to a PC. Tempmate also stores a PDF validation certificate in the logger memory, alongside a 6-point hard copy. Memory holds 16,000 readings at a default 10-minute interval, and Tempmate quotes up to 110 days of runtime depending on temperature and interval. It supports single and cumulative alarms with up to five thresholds, shown by LED.
The limitations: there is no LCD display, only LED indication, and the CR2450 battery is not replaceable. Unstarted units have a minimum 24-month shelf life. With EN 12830, CE and RTCA DO-160 listed and an IP67 rating, it suits pharma exports and air shipments where the receiver needs a report without installing tempbase 2.
