About the Testo 174H
The Testo 174H is a compact reusable logger that records temperature and relative humidity with two internal sensors. It measures -20 to +70°C at ±0.5°C and 0 to 100 %RH non-condensing at ±3 %RH between 2 and 98 %RH at +25°C.
Memory holds 16,000 readings at intervals from 1 minute to 24 hours. Readings show on its display, and data is downloaded over a USB cable interface into Testo ComSoft Basic, a free download, with ComSoft Professional and a ComSoft CFR 21 Part 11 version available as options. Reports export to Excel. Two CR2032 batteries are replaceable and last about a year at a 15-minute cycle.
The limitations: it needs Testo software and the USB interface to read data, there is no automatic PDF, and its IP20 rating means it is for indoor storage, not wet or outdoor use. A test protocol is included. It suits pharmacies, stores and offices where humidity affects quality.
