Testo 184 T2 Single-Use USB Temperature Data Logger

The Testo 184 T2 is a single-use USB temperature logger that records temperature from -35 to +70°C. Testo specifies the 184 T2 at ±0.5°C accuracy with 0.1°C resolution. Down to -35°C, the 184 T2 covers 2–8°C fridges as well as -20°C freezers.

Memory holds 40,000 readings with an interval settable from 1 min to 24 h, about 417 days of logging at 15-minute steps. Testo lists the maximum runtime of the 184 T2 as 150 days from first program start (5 min measuring cycle, -35°C). Recording on the 184 T2 starts by scheduled. Plugging the 184 T2 into a PC through its USB connector creates a PDF report automatically.

Physically, the 184 T2 has Segment LCD (one-line, no backlight) display, IP65 protection and a sealed, non-replaceable battery. Unstarted 184 T2 units have a shelf life of max. storage duration 1 year after delivery. Listed approvals for the 184 T2: EN 12830, CE, RTCA DO-160G and HACCP International.
